Countyline Sports was started by Mike Grabowski in 2005 and he and his crew ran the store for three years. He then chose to close the store due to lack of personnel.

Countyline was closed for 5 months while the new owner (Doug Chaffee) got set up to open. Countyline reopened in October of 2008 and Doug ran the store by himself at first. Not too long after reopening John showed up and has been helping out ever since.

Katie (Doug's wife) has worked part time from the beginning as the book keeper as well as helping out behind the counter.

In January of 2009 Frank came on board to be the gun smith and was with us for about one year. Ryan came to us in March of 2009 and worked until Jan 2010.

Brent came on board in May of 2010.

When Doug first reopened Countyline Sports it was just a few guns in a old church (built in 1912). But Doug had a vision of a store with not only a good gun selection but cleaning and reloading supplies as well. Over time Doug saw his vision come to be and today we have a great selection in all three areas.
